Bridge of the Shi'lithra

Description

Simple little background I made. It's supposed to represent Kedzuel's Battle Chariot. He inherited this ship from his uncle, when Kedzuel dethroned him and lopped his head off.

The Shi'lithra was one of the first ships that I actually created on my own with hardly any references. Technology is mine, concept is mine. It's an original ship. I even did a 3D model of it once, but I might, meh, redesign it. If I can find the old image, I'll show it off. It needs to be redesigned though.

As some of you read, this ship goes into the 4th Dimension or as Kedzuel put it simply, just out of phase with reality. Now, I'm not talking 4th Dimension as in, alternate reality, but rather dimension such as 0 Dimension, 1 Dimension, 2 Dimension, 3 Dimension, 4 Dimension. And this ship can slip to 4 Dimension. It's a 4 Dimensional ship. And that's how it's able to 'cloak' itself or be undetected by sensory means. It just goes around the 3 dimensional space. Pretty much the concept was based off of me watching Flatland, a movie which has 2 dimensional creatures interacting with a 3 dimensional creature, who could go up and above them or even through them. And that's what this ship does. The trick of sensing a ship like this is through gravity. It still affects gravity around it. But gravity is a weak force and something that has a stronger pull on gravity will drown out the ship's signature. Which is why in the story, the Shi'lithra orbiting Earth, no one can sense it.

This ship's concept was thrown at one of my physics friends and we just came up with all sorts of fun stuff to do with it. When it's phased back into normal reality, and it tries to enter the atmosphere, what happens? Well, a lot of things will happen, including ionization of the atmosphere and temperatures around the affected area rising, a lot. Like you will burn if it tries to descend into the atmosphere.

Well, what if it descends while being out of phase, nothing happens. What if it come back into phase let's say over a relatively flat area like a desert in the US. After a lot of meteorological crap happening, it'll just stand there. So, some of the concepts we had was when we floated Kedzuel's ship above a flat area, let's say two feet above the surface, because of it's near weightlessness, or it's exuding a force to keep it hovering above, we would push it. We could actually push this ship. Now, this ship is about the size of V'ger from Star Trek the Motion Picture. It's friggin' huge. If we push it slowly, we would cause some fluctuation of the air around us. It'll make the air ripple due to friction. It's neat.

Just don't even piss off Kedzuel. This thing is like the Death Star, it can make the Earth go boom in one shot. But I had fun in thinking about the concept of this ship.

As for the exterior, it's rather angular, the original design made it look like if a shoe-box and a naval destroyer had kids. Very dumb design. Shields on this thing aren't the usual shielding that goes around the ship, but has multiple emitters which control a honeycomb of shields. Makes it rather hard to really shoot the ship down, especially when you take out one of the combs, it'll just be replaced by another. Control of the ship is mental through the pilot, namely Kedzuel himself and the ship acts as an amplifier of his own powers. The ship itself doesn't have guns or a cannon, or even torpedoes, but Kedzuel's own energy creates the weapons. However, it has one device which allows it to poke a hole through space-time to the Far Realm (something that wasn't in the original design of the ship but had to be added for BDM's story) creating a singularity that calls back any creature of the Far Realm back into their realm. Only has a close range though, so the ship has to be in the area of that creature to banish it. The ship's weapons are as precise as its pilot. But it does have crewmen who help maintain and repair the ship. Kedzuel just drives the ship and fires the weapons.

Me again; now, when you say the Shi'itrha's as big as V'Ger, do you mean the V'Ger ship or the cloud it shrouded itself in? Because that would be a pretty crucial distinction.
