Burning Human

Yeah, this image is really weird.

By the way, that's Tanya from Southern Heat. And she's trying to make herself human again...but it's backfiring a lot. And she's setting fire to Buffalo Ridge while she's at it.

Tanya is one of the humans who was transformed by Netar's Twin Fires Event that turned a very small percentage of humans into dragons...or as he puts it "Awakening" them.

And Tanya is one of the "unfortunate Afflicted" with this "dragon plague". She's one of like 4 Great Wyrm Red Dragons in the whole of North America, and the only one in Tennessee. Reds are very rare and for good reason...they're the size o 747s and eat their weight in food. The Americas are populated by mostly Copper, Brass, White, Black, and Green Dragons changed Afflicted Humans. And because of the actions of a certain Red Dragon named Tholaxius who decided to go Godzilla on Paris for um...reasons...Red Dragons like Tanya are generally looked at with some hostility.

Yeah, it sucks to be her. And this is why she's trying to make herself human again. But as long as the Twin Fires burn, she can't do shape shift and "go back to sleep".

There's the first 9 chapters. This is not finished though. 

The story itself is on hiatus.  I would appreciate if no one would ask me when it's ever going to be done.  It'll be done when I feel like it should be done.  Besides I might even change it enough to be able to maybe someday publish it.  And if it does get published, the only time you'll ever be able to read it is when you buy the book.
