Ghost DadzWIP

Thought I'd show this off. This image is a WIP, but I wanna show it off as is because it's funny. The ghostly King Mufasa meets the celestial Ascendant Great Wyrm Red Dragon Pyrothraxus and they fight over the cloud they're standing on.

First off, yes, I can draw Mufasa, *unamused* Woopie...what a shock? I can draw Disney characters.

This image shows a visual author's interpenetration of what ascension is for an Ancient Dragon. Think of the Ancients in the Jonathan Long story as like the Ancients in Stargate SG-1 and their ascension and powers and how they conduct themselves are very similar.

In the new story of The Crimson Dragon II, I'll go into more depth about the Ascension and various guidelines and rules as well as neat powers an Ascendant gets when he/she becomes one.

If you can't read the lines in there...

Pyrothraxus: "Back off, Darth Vader! I got this cloud for another five minutes. I'm not done with my Hamlet moment, yet."

Mufasa: "Oh boy!"

The Darth Vader gag in there is reference to Mufasa being voiced by James Earl Jones who did the voice of Darth Vader...duh. And the Hamlet reference is to...well...the Lion King was in fact an interpenetration of Hamlet when you think about it.

I will color this. If you're wondering why everything looks see--through--ee...it's because this is how my drawings look before I color them. I use layers to put stuff in and then when I color it, it'll be more solid.
