Wrathion Meets His Father by Ghostwalker2061 Wrathion Meets His Father by Ghostwalker2061
This was a mess. It took just as long as doing a simple paining. Mostly because I didn't know how the fuck to work the screen tones.

But, finally, the image we've waited for, Wrathion finally meets Neltharion. Because you know, you all waited for this.
It will happen in the story. I just haven't gotten there yet.

Of course Nel hasn't really noticed Wrathion just yet. Mostly because well...the punk's the size of an ant to him.

And yes, people, as I stated, I can actually draw in the anime manga style...whatever. I just don't do it often because it never agrees with the way do things.

And in a way, this makes sense, since Warcraft has had its own mangas before. I've got a few of my own in fact.

But none actually having squishy Nel in the book, except for maybe a bit of prologue or whatever.

WoW in manga style eh? I have the Sunewell trilogy, featuring Kalecgos It was 'meh' the artwork was decent enough so if you can use it for ideas I'd guess. Even though Nel looks a little bit too dark in this for me, it's nice to see you try different things from time to time.

Actually, it's supposed to look like a page out of a manga comic.

Well in context it looks like a chapter cover.

If I just stumbled on it then yes, I would say it was a page. (Making me want to read the thing... but I can wait for you to write it)

*goes and reads* ... ... ...

Hmm... yet again you justify your changes (save for Norzdormu... there is always a Doctor!)

But reading this and Norzdormu's way of thinking reminds me of a quote: 'A SEASON FOR ALL THINGS. A time to live, and a time to die; A time to build... and a time to destroy.'

But as for Nel that... makes a lot of sense. But I wouldnt call it a fountain of youth... morso cryogenic in nature.

How do I justify my changes?

And what makes a lot of sense for Nel? Is it because he's so adorable? Or is it because he's a gigantic kid?

Well Nels Eyes for one. Green eyes on the earth aspect... and the speech impediment. I recall you saying that tuey were made in the Titans image yet this takes it to a new level.

Well... kinda a bit of both. I've always seen the black flight being somewhat amusingly stubborn, and from what your basing your Nel off of makes me laugh at the adventures you put him through

Yeah, the Titans in my stories actually cloned their own organs to help make the Aspects. Neltharion has Khaz'goroth's eyes, Nozdormu has Aman'Thul's vocal cords. And Malygos had Norgannan's heart.

So, they literally have bits and pieces of Titans in them.

It won't be posted on here for a while. And I haven't gotten to that part yet. I'm still on chapter two where Neltharion is arguing with Thrall over the Dragonmaw still using his children as mounts. I mean, Theramore isn't even nuked yet.

I'm getting to that bit shortly.

However, if you really want to follow the story...it's posted here.

Let me guess, you're a Wrathion fan.

However, there are about three stories you might want to read before you get to the fourth...this is a series after all.

Okay. That's good.

I'm the only perso on the Internet that seems to have made a redemption story about Neltharion and he survives.

And the Pandaria story seems to be the only one that will have Neltharion and Wrathion meet each other...and Neltharion is alive during the meeting–rather than dead or in some crazy vision quest dream–or–whatever.

that's a cool story idea :)

it made me sad when Neltharion died in the lore, but I could see he was too far gone to save even if a part of him was still there, your version of Neltharion was able to be redeemed and had a happy ending for his character, I liked that :)

No. Blizzard didn't redeem him because they were lazy. It wasn't because he was too far gone. They were lazy, Cataclysm could have been done much better story wise. Deathwing wasn't the main villain of the story or even attempted to flesh him out during the game.

It was all about Thrall and that was it. Because Chris Metzen is racist against black dragons.

I mean, look at the Dawn of the Aspects story. So much retconning. Ugh. I wish to smack Knaak up the side of the head. And Chris Metzen. He needs to get smacked too. Especially since it seems the Titans played no part in the Aspects creations. It was all the watchers who were doing it.

I at least have the Titans actually there when they constructed the Aspects and have an integral part in their construction. And I made it to where each Titan cloned a body part from their own body to place inside their respected Aspect. Nozdormu has Aman'Thul's vocal cords. So, his voice is in fact Aman'Thul's. Malygos had Norgannon's heart–which explains why he was so cheerful at first. Alextrasza and Ysera, I haven't decided yet. Maybe the liver and spleen. Just to be funny. And finally Neltharion was made with the cloned eye balls of Khaz'goroth. So, it appears everything that Neltharion sees, Khaz'goroth sees as well. Which explains why my Neltharion's eyes are green.

I even had Nel and Nozi discuss their fathers and their first impressions of them. Neltharion said Khaz'goroth always looked at him with almost resentment–and Nozdormu said that Aman'Thul was a practical joker–which explains the Bronze Dragon's speech impediment.

And I'm serious on the fact that I'm the only one who redeemed Deathwing and turned it into a story series where he lives. I've asked all my readers to basically find me a redemption story of Deathwing that does not have him die at the end, is not a one-shot, and has some sort of completion to it–and written fairly well. I'll even accept it in a different language so long as the person actually translates it for me.

There isn't any. I'm the only one. I'm sad.

And there isn't even a story where Wrathion actually meets his father and his father still lives.

I'd love to challenge all the Wrathion fangirls out there to write a fic in which a redeemed Neltharion meets his son. And Nel has to be redeemed and alive, not dead or in some vision.

wow that's deep description, did you plan that all out before writing it? I have to think about the story as I write it, slow, especially with periods of writer's block, but it works for me. I do put some thought into it before writing though, just when I start writing it goes to that method

really? none? dang

I did have an idea where Wrathion meets his Father, alive and sane/redeemed, but it's a crossover idea and not entirely sure it would work, crossovers can be tricky

you don't like those two very much I assume ^^;

I try to be like some of my favorite authors...who write outlines and test chapters, and notes and all that kind of stuff all before they just start writing.

Because if you're going to write something good, it has to be worked out first.

None. Seriously, none. I actually want to see how other people handles Neltharion's redemption without him dying. If all anyone has to go on is my work, then that's rather sad.

And seriously, yes, I want people to write the bit where Wrathion actually meets his father.

I'm the only one. I'm the only one who would draw a redeemed Nel with Wrathion too. I challenge people to do that as well.

Fairly well, I still think something seems slightly off about the human characters, but I can't decide on what it is enough to be able to put my finger on it specifically. It might just end up being me being so used to seeing different human styles in actual manga. Who knows *shrug*

Well... I think you overdid it with the screentones. It's hard to make out detail on Nel because of the dots. My suggestion would be: give him a solid grey main color and use screentones for shadows only. Ortherwise it is cool and looks like a legit manga page. Although I'm no manga expert %)
