Added note on Art Theft again

Okay guys, I apparently was once more "notified" by someone who stated someone had posted my artwork on tumblr without my permission and stated that this was against the policy of copyright infringement.

Okay, let me clear up one thing.

I know what Art Theft is, I've seen it done to my own art.  

I have seen someone trace my artwork and then post it as their own.

I've seen someone who downloaded a picture of mine and then scribbled over it, posted it on tumblr and then sign it and claim it as their own.

I even have seen people steal characters of mine just to draw a distasteful image of that character out of spite of me.  That happened to me twice.  Once by our dear douchebag of the internet, Mark Draper, and the other, well, some Twilight fan who had an issue with Vickie, the Shadow Dragon, and wanted to state that she's not a girl because she didn't look "pretty".  And also because well, it was of Edward Cullen being stomped on by Vickie.

And though I have now become a fan of Robert Pattinson due to the fact that he's made it clear that he's not a fan of Twilight in his own way.

Anyways, look people.  If you want to reblog some of my images on other sites, because DA does provide buttons on deviations for things like Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Google+ and what not....

So if you want to reblog my work on those sites.  GREAT!  I love free advertisement.

Copyright infringement only comes in if you repost an art piece of mine on a website and claiming it to be yours.  Art Theft is what happens when one of you yank an image off DA that belongs to mine and then repost it on DA, without my permission, claim it is yours and basically steal the viewers from the true creator of the image...me.

This also has to do with if one of you decide to sell prints of my artwork and not giving me a cent.

These things I do not find OK and I will let you know about it.

But really, give me the free advertisement.  I don't mind if you reblog my images so long as I am credited in the reblog and a link to the site is provided.

I can't always be around to pretty much post my artwork EVERYWHERE.  And many of you know of places I don't know of and would like to spread the word of my GLORIOUSNESS to those who are ignorant to my wonderful existence. (Ignorant meaning not in the knowing.  I'm not using the word to mean stupid.  Don't have a cow.)

So, in all seriousness.  I don't mind it when people reblog my stuff.  

Hell, you want to know something?  You know my Dragon Caesar image?  One of my buddies at work found it swimming around one of the mech forums I haven't even traversed yet, stated he found my image posted there...and then was utterly shocked that I was the one who drew it.

You know what happened afterwards?  He wants me to do work for him.

Couldn't believe that the person who created the Slumbering Dragon Caesar image actually worked on the same floor as he did and who talked to him a lot at work.

Isn't that wonderful?

So, yes, reblog my stuff, share my stuff.  Just make sure you credit me.  That's the only thing I ask.
